Convocation 2012 @ ACCMAN
Vice-Chancellors of two top universities, Director IIM, and President NAAS – a Padma Bhushan recepient delivered Convocation Addresses in the Four Annual Convocations of ACCMAN
 ACCMAN Institute of Management, a top ranking B- School in Delhi- NCR organized Convocation Function for PGDM 2009-11, PGDM (Retail Management) 2009-11, and PGDM (Marketing) 2009-11 batches on 14 Jan 2012. Prof. (Dr) R.B. Singh, Padma Bhushan, President, NAAS and Ex ADG FAO of the United Nations, the Chief Guest, delivering the Convocation Address, congratulated the graduating students on having received the coveted post-diploma of ACCMAN and on their being employed with top banks and well acclaimed industry. He impressed upon the immense value of judiciousness, seeking responsibilities, analysis of risk involved in fast track developments, deep concern for sustainability, need of a sound inclusive approach in execution, corporate social responsibility, and drawing guidance from existing wisdom. He expressed his overwhelming happiness over achievements of ACCMAN in excelling and grooming the students
Shri V. Kannan, Executive Director, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Shri Amul Gabrani Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Tecpro Systems Limited, and Mr. Deepak Malik, Managing Director, Continental Carbon India Limited (CCIL) graced the occasion as Guests of Honour and presented medals to the meritorious students in recognition of their scholastic achievements.
At this Convocation, a total of one hundred sixty four students were awarded their post graduate diplomas in various specialization areas of PGDM - Marketing, Finance and Human Resource, PGDM (Retail Management), and PGDM (Marketing)
Shri V. Kannan, Executive Director, Oriental Bank of Commerce, complimented the leadership and the faculty on grooming the students and putting in sustained efforts on their overall personality and professional development much over and the contact hours laid down by AICTE. He advised the students to let their devotion be the path to their career growth.

Convocation 2011 @ ACCMAN
ACCMAN Institute of management, organized Convocation 2011 on January 16, 2011 for 2008 – 10 batch.
The convocation address has been delivered by Chief Guest Prof (Dr.) Devi Singh (Director – IIM Lucknow). He said “Today is the day when you look back and start acknowledging who all has contributed in making this day possible. It is your parents who have cherished every moment of your journey and they are equally proud of your achievement today. You are members of a select group which enjoys the privilege of having an education which is most sought after today. We expect you, as professional managers, to provide leadership to our organizations which the country needs more than ever now”.
He also said, “Accman Institute of management is shaping into a great centre of learning and scholarship. Excellence is achieved through perseverance and hard work, and I congratulate the leadership and faculty for striving hard to make ACCMAN a centre of excellence in management education”.
Guest of Honour, Shri L.P. Agarwal (MD & CEO, PNB Investment Services Ltd), in his address said that, “Accman Institute of Management has emerged as a prestigious institution in NCR and in India also. This shows the dedication and hard work of teaching faculty. Leaders were dedicated to serve their org as well as to the society at large”.
He also mentioned, “ACCMAN Institute of Management is not only providing the high quality of education, it is also committed to develop leadership as well as creativity and team work, that are critical to success in the present competitive business environment”.
Mr. Ishan Shankar, Vice Chairman-SIPPL, EPC Division of Gammon India Ltd, has addressed the valuable thoughts to the present.
Honorable chairman Accman Institute of Management Prof Arun Singh mentioned in his speech, “Today, the global economy provides challenges as well as opportunities. The challenges are looking for solutions and therein lies the opportunity which India with its vast and talented pool of youth like you can exploit. But this is not possible till our youth develop those capabilities that are needed to convert the opportunities into reality. Our talented young population needs world class of education. ACCMAN, on its part, is contributing towards this goal by developing a pool of talented and energetic managers who have the potential of becoming harbingers of this change process”.

He informed the present about the academic/ non – academic value additions, achievements by members of faculties and students of Accman. He also presented vote of thanks.

Convocation 2010 @ ACCMAN
 ACCMAN Institute of Management, organized Convocation Function for the PGDM 2007-09 batch on 30 th Jan'2010. Prof. (Dr) B. B. Bhattacharya , Vice Chancellor, Jawaharlal Nehru University , while delivering the convocation address, congratulated the graduating students on having received the coveted diploma and also landing up with high profile jobs with leading organizations. However, he also cautioned the students that there is a limit to self maximization and ultimately it will lead the world to financial disasters like the one we witnessed last year. He stressed upon the need to bring about the necessary change in the focus of business education in India and expressed satisfaction at the fact that ACCMAN is already giving stress to value based education in its curriculum.

Gupta , Chairman & MD, United Bank Of India & Shri Sushil Gupta , MD(West), Asian Hotels Ltd. graced the occasion as Guests of Honour and presented medals to the meritorious students in recognition of their scholastic achievements. During the function, a total of sixty students were awarded their post graduate diplomas in various specialization areas of Marketing, Finance and Human Resource.
Shri Satish C. Gupta , Chairman & MD, United Bank Of India, said, “There is nothing impossible in this world if your conviction is strong.”. He told the students that they can do wonders if they adopt helping attitude towards all people.
Shri Sushil Gupta, MD(West), Asian Hotels Ltd. advised students to always follow the right path. He added, “Ask yourself simply four questions: Firstly, is it the truth? Secondly, is it fair to all concerned? Thirdly, will it build goodwill and better friendship? Fourthly, will it be beneficial to all concerned?” If the answer is yes to all, go for it.
Earlier, while delivering the annual report before conferring the diplomas, Prof. Praveen Sharma, Director of Accman Institute of Management, highlighted the achievements of the institute during the last one year. He informed the distinguished gathering about the strides that faculty and students of ACCMAN have taken in the field of academic excellence, research and extra curricular activities. He expressed satisfaction at the fact that within a short span of four years ACCMAN has managed to carve an important place for itself in the minds of both MBA aspirants and recruiters. It is noteworthy that recently ACCMAN was ranked number 7 amongst all the top MBA colleges of Delhi and NCR ahead of all colleges of Greater Noida by a leading magazine.

Convocation 2009 @ ACCMAN
 ACCMAN Institute of Management organized Convocation for the first batch (PGDM 2006-08) on January 23rd 2009. The function was graced by the august presence of Prof. Deepak Pental, Vice Chancellor, Delhi University as Chief Guest who also delivered the convocation address. Mr M. Venugopalan, MD & CEO, Federal Bank and Mr Nirmal Jain, CMD, India Infoline Ltd graced the occasion as Guests of Honour. During the function, a total of sixty students were awarded their post graduate diplomas in various specialization areas of Marketing, Finance and Human Resources.
While delivering the Convocation Address, Prof. Deepak Pental said, “We have survived as a nation, because we started with great idealism, the best of the ideals of the world, democratic structure.” He advised the young management professionals to develop skills both for the short term and the long term. Unless they develop the ability to manage all types of situation, they can't become successful managers, he said.
Mr Nirmal Jain, CMD, India Infoline Ltd., said that ups and downs in business are like day and night. “We have been analyzing economy and market, but I can say with full conviction that there is no country like India in terms of growth to absorb young and give fascinating career opportunities,” he added.
Mr. M. Venugopalan, MD & CEO, Federal Bank said that in today's competitive world, professional education has a role in shaping the future leaders and managers of tomorrow. He further added, “Higher education has become a necessity to lay a strong foundation to achieve excellence in all spears of life. I truly believe ACCMAN is such an institute.”
