ACCMAN offers the following programmes:

• PGDM (Marketing) 60 seats 2 years Full-Time Programme

Are the programmes AICTE approved?

• All the above programmes PGDM, PGDM (Retail), and PGDM (Marketing) are AICTE approved.
• ACCMAN runs only AICTE Approved programmes.

What pedagogy does ACCMAN follow?

Pedagogy of the PGDM program includes intensive classroom lectures, projects, case studies, assignments, group discussions, presentations, seminars, simulations, management games and guest lectures by eminent industry experts.

What technological support ACCMAN provides to the learning environment?

ACCMAN endeavors to provide the best and most up-to date extensive and participative methods of learning tools and facilities including resource centers equipped with the latest technology. Classrooms and auditorium are equipped with LCD projectors, OHPs, ergonomically designed seating configuration and audio video teaching aids for facilitating the learning process. IT infrastructure includes state of the art hardware and software to cater to the computing needs of students and faculty.

Could you please tell me about library facility at ACCMAN?

ACCMAN has a well stocked library that provides access to the finest collection of contemporary books, newspapers, journals and magazines, and Delnet which supplement the prescribed textbooks and reference books. A well furnished and spacious reading room forms part of the library.

What is the internet facility at ACCMAN?

ACCMAN Campus if fully Wi-fi and the Pentium IV machines working on Windows XP, Windows 2003 and Linux platforms have the latest application software packages.

How is the period of two years scheduled?

The tentative schedule at ACCMAN is as below:

• Term - I June to October
• Term - II November to January
• Term -III February to April
• Summer Internship May to June
• Term - IV June to September
• Term - V October to December
• Term -VI January to March

What all specializations does ACCMAN offer for PGDM?

PGDM students have the option to specialize in more than one area. Students have the option to opt for Major Specialization in any two of the following areas –

• Finance
• Marketing
• Human Resources Management

Two Minor specializations in place of one Major Specialization can be chosen from any of the above streams, and in addition, the following streams, viz.

• International Business
• Information Technology

If the number of participants selecting a course is 10 or less that 10, the request for that elective may not be entertained.

Depending on prevailing circumstances, the Institute may change the electives and may also increase or decrease the number of electives offered.

What is the method of evaluation?

The distribution of weightage for various components of evaluation shall be as below unless otherwise notified before the start of the course:

• Term end examination - 50%
• Continuous evaluation - 50%

May I know about Summer Internship at ACCMAN

Every student at ACCMAN undergoes minimum eight weeks summer internship/training in an organization of repute in India . The project for the summer internship/training is assigned by the organization concerned. Upon completion of the internship/training, the training report is submitted. The student makes an oral presentation of his/her report before a joint session of the faculty and students. The project report shall also be examined by an examiner.

I am worried about the word Ragging

ACCMAN has taken stringent measures to prevent ragging which include motivation for no-ragging, Strictly No-Ragging displays, awareness of consequences in case involved, written undertakings from students and guardians, and close vigil by committees constituted for this purpose.

In which all Student Committees can I take part?

ACCMAN believes in Students' Committees and has the following and more committees.

• Placement Committee
• Event management Committee
• Publications and research Committee
• Journal Committee
• Games & Sports Committee
• Hostel & Mess Committee
• Class Representatives.

All the committees shall function under the guidance of the members of faculty/officers.

How is Corporate Interface at ACCMAN?

The Corporate Resource Interface Centre (CRIC) at Accman Institute of Management is proactively involved in creating an interface with the industry through –

• Maintaining regular interaction for organizing industrial training, visits, guest lectures, workshops and seminars to broaden the exposure of students.
• Providing requisite knowledge to students in areas of personality development and communication skills.
• Recommending revision of curriculum as per changing business requirements
• Organizing inter-cultural exchange with other institutions
• Identifying organizations where consultancy assignments can be taken up.

The primary objective of CRIC is to ensure 100% Summer Internship and endeavour for final placement of all students in reputed organizations. The Cell is co-coordinated by a student managed Placement Committee under the guidance of the Chief, CRIC.

Can I get to develop my IT skills at ACCMAN?

ACCMAN has two computer centers equipped with Pentium – IV server through high speed broad band and wi-fi connectivity enabling the faculty and students to link up with the outside world uninterruptedly. All the computers are connected to Internet and the network is complemented with a host of printers and other peripherals.

The computer labs will remain open for students as per timings decided by the Network Administrator that will be displayed at the computer lab. The students are required to use the computer lab for enhancing their knowledge base and management skills.

How are Hostel and Mess Facilities at ACCMAN?

ACCMAN has a well laid out Boys Hostel within the campus. The Mess is adjoining the hostel. Members of faculty dine with students at lunch time. Members of Staff staying in staff quarters have all their meals in the Mess.

May I know about sports facilities at ACCMAN?

ACCMAN has well patronized indoor and outdoor sports facilities within the campus. A well equipped Gymnasium is a part of the hostel.

How are Medical facilities at ACCMAN?

ACCMAN has a Medical Examination Room within the campus where a doctor visits on regular basis. The campus adjoins a well equipped hospital. Also a number of other hospitals are in there vicinity. Further more ACCMAN has a van placed in the campus for any emergency any time.

How do I reach ACCMAN?

ACCMAN is in Knowledge Park – III of Greater Noida. Pari Chowk is the central place in Greater Noida where all buses come to. From Pari Chowk the institute is barely four kms.
