The ACCMAN Library, also known as the Knowledge Resources Centre, is a cornerstone of academic excellence in management education. Designed to support teaching, learning and research, the library provides a rich blend of print and digital resources within a modern, student-friendly environment.

Rules for the Library

Eligibility

The ACCMAN library is open for the use of all the students, all faculty (full-time and visiting), all administrative staff, research scholars and casual visitors. New ACCMAN members must apply to the library in writing on a duly attested form, signed by the Director.

Membership Procedure

Each new library membership form has to be circulated and submitted to the Librarian along with one's competent photograph and a photocopy of one's identity card for storage in one's personal record. Issue of the authorised library card.

General Rules

  • Renewal is allowed only with the satisfaction of one or two extensions if no reservations exist.
  • For renewing, the borrower's first present the book to the librarian for re-checking, in front of pending demands. Renewals will be made online.
  • Reference books are issued only on the loan/lending policy and not be allowed to be taken out.
  • The library is not allowed to issue books to be issued without indents.
  • Users will not be allowed to issue books to friends or relatives. Books once issued become entries at the user's risk.
  • Newspapers must be retained till the next day's edition arrives at the library.
  • All borrowing privileges (and limited reservations) of new members may be in force for one academic year only.
  • Identify cards must be presented every time before issuing the library services.
  • Users must not destroy, mutilate, modify or damage any library material. Offenders will be liable to repay or refund the lost or damaged books and to replace these any can be reasonable.
  • In case of loss of book, the borrower must replace one with the latest edition or a price equivalent to the cost.
  • Eating in the Library is not allowed at any cost. So is acceptance of others.

Circulation Hours

The Circulation (Issue/Return) Service is available from 09:00 AM to 5:00 PM on all working days of the Library.

Library Timings

The library remains open all seven days, except holidays as specified in the academic calendar of ACCMAN throughout the year.
